Junior Arborists and Apiarist's Apprentices Programs for Young Horticulturists!

Maison Saint-Gabriel is taking advantage of Garden Days to inaugurate the garden experience of the Youth Programme.

On Saturdays June 16 and 23, 2018, at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, three educational activities will be offered to children aged 6 to 12 years old and their families.

Junior Arborists Experience

Children learn the role trees played in the history of New France, discover the various species growing on-site and take up the challenge of a life-size association game.

Mission of the Apiarist’s Apprentices

Children learn the important role of bees and how to recognize them. Then, they set off in search of bees in the vegetable garden.

Young Horticulturists Project - only on June 16 and 23

Children are given an envelope of seeds and are invited to plant one seed in the Farmhouse garden and the rest when they get home. They can then follow the development of their seed on Instagram, Facebook and share the evolution of their own flower garden using #maisonsaintgabriel #beeafriend

Activities take place 4 times. An online booking is required for children ($ 5). This price does not include the admission of parents who can buy their ticket on site.
